DicomServer objects are created directly by a user application, and provide a subset of the DicomViewer’s interfaces, such that all the Service Class Provider functionality is provided, without a user interface. Since events are used to notify the container application of incoming requests, this object is only suitable for more recent containers (such as Visual Basic 5 or 6), that have the ability to attach event procedures to automation objects other than visible controls.
